People’s Assembly: Building Community

People’s Assemblies are a way for a group of people to discuss issues or make decisions collectively, where all voices are heard and valued equally and no one person or group are able to dominate the process. In this assembly, we will be discussing community! Its so important to stay connected to each other within the movement, have fun, support one another, and regenerate. We have BIG PLANS to improve our community connection at Animal Rebellion and we need your input! We want to know what YOU want from your community spaces. What will they look like? Know Your Rights!

Rebellion season is here! Are you wanting to attend an action or demonstration? Would you like to show your support to rebels who are on the front lines causing disruption? How can you be prepared? Our know your rights training goes over the basics of what you may need to know when going out to a protest, and what to expect if you decide to get arrested. We will be going over the powers of the police at protests so people don't have to be feel like you are being bullied by the police.
