Anti-speciesism challenges the prevailing status of non-human animals, where speciesism is the belief that humans are superior to non-human animals and therefore can be exploited. Speciesism is deeply entrenched in every aspect of our civilization, from language and the media to the food system that is destroying our planet whilst oppressing human and non-human animals.
