Our know your rights traning gose over the basics of what you may need to know when going out to a protest, and what to expect if you decide to get arrested. We will be going over the powers of the police at protests so people don't have to be feel like you are being bullied by the police. What rights you have while in custody & what to expect while you are awaiting your realise. Come along to find out how to get involved as we demand that local councils stop serving animal products in their schools and council events to combat the climate crisis. We've had some wins with Oxfordshire recently voting for only plant-based food at council events. Flintshire in North Wales is moving towards plant-based days in 70 primary schools and 11 high schools. North Yorkshire have introduced one veg day per week. As the IPCC has confirmed, the climate is changing rapidly and we are all witnessing the breakdown of our eco system. But what’s actually happening and what can we do about it? In this talk, Animal Rebellion summarises what has caused the climate emergency, what we can do about it and how to get involved.
