What’s it like to be arrested for speaking up? In this instalment of Stream of Solidarity, we’ll be having a panel discussion with some of our Rebels, who’ve previously been arrested. They will be sharing different experiences involving what it's like to be in police custody for the crime of speaking against a toxic system, along with a Q&A. This is an opportunity, for those who have never felt the long arm of the police, to gain some insight as to what it's like to be arrested, held in police custody until interviewed. What is it like for a dairy farmer to transition away from animal agriculture to veganic farming? In this instalment of Stream of Solidarity we welcome Laurence Candy, who is doing just that. Laurence is one of a growing number farmers setting a trend in animal agriculture, as he is makes the transition away from dairy to a fully veganic farm. What are the benefits? People will often criticise saying “why don’t you have your own political party where you can put the things you want to the public to vote on?” We do. Vanessa heads has been the leader of the Animal Welfare Party since 2010 and has over seen 13 party election campaigns across the UK.
